What problems should be paid attention to when using the overlock sewing machine?

Jul 20, 2022

The overlock sewing machine should pay attention to the following issues in the process of using it, and carry out production while ensuring personal safety.

1. Before starting the machine, check whether the belt cover, eye protection, finger protection, crooked needle cover, and other insurances are normal, and re-confirm whether the line is pulled in place to avoid personal accidents.

2. Use a waste cloth to test the machine before starting work, and start production after the sewing machine sounds normal, which can reduce material loss.

3. When the machine starts running, be sure not to put your fingers, hair, clothes, etc. near the pulley, V-belt, or motor, keep your fingers away from the needle and the cloth cutter, and don't put your fingers in the goggles.

4. There should be no jumping stitches or stacking of threads at the overlock seam, and the three strands should be tightly stitched. The seam should be straight, the corners should be neat and in place, and the stitches should be 1 cm, 3-4 stitches.

5. If the machine has abnormal noise, odor, overheating, and other phenomena during the production process, it should be stopped immediately. If the machine rotates violently and gets stuck, immediately turn off the power switch and report to the machine maintenance personnel for overhaul.

When the operator leaves the workbench, the power should be turned off in time, the machine position should be sorted out, and the stacking of the fuselage countertop should be sorted out.
